Mangaluru: Janata Dal (Secular) (JD(S)) has appointed Akshith Suvarna as the Dakshina Kannada District President of its Yuva Janata Dal with immediate effect.

State President of JD(S) HD Kumaraswamy has assigned Akshith Suvarna the responsibility of the JD(S) youth wing hoping he would lead the sector by abiding to the party ethics and policies, a press release from the party JD(S) stated.
