Mangalore:The Minister for Forests and Environment B Ramanatha Rai inaugurated the Advanced Department of Nephrology in the Indiana Hospital and Heart Institute on 28th of October Monday.
Addressing the gathering in the formal function held soon after the inauguration he said “Today everyone needs to have good medical treatment. For this sake the central Govt. has allotted a large sum for providing good medical facilities to the poor in the villages under the National Rural health Development scheme.”
He also said that the people of Coastal region of Karnataka have the great awareness regarding the medical facilities. It is also a notable fact that the private hospitals of this region are serving the poor and Indiana Hospital is one among them.
Speaking on the occasion the DK district Health Officer Dr. ShivKumar said the medical facilities in the Hospital are of World class. Along with few of the rare surgeries the hospital has achieved many milestones and I wish all the very best for the hospital.
Another guest of honour and the Deputy General Manager of Corporation Bank Shri Dhananjay Madhav Majumdar said that it is very difficult to run the hospital after giving world class facilities to every common man. Hence I congratulate the Kumble Brothers for this venture and it is a proud feeling to be the Banker of this hospital.
The Managing Director of the Hospital Dr. Yusuf Kumble rendered the key note address and spoke about the achievements of the Hospital.
Cooperator Praveen Chandra Alva also spoke on the occasion.
The Chairman of the Hospital Dr. Ali Kumble welcomed the gathering while Chief Consultant Nephrologist Dr.Pradeep KJ rendered the vote of thanks.
