Acting on a tip-off, Kadaba police have taken action against two individuals for their involvement in illegal cattle slaughter at a residence in Kemmara, Kadaba. Under the guidance of PSI Abhinandan MS, the police conducted a raid after receiving information about unauthorized cow slaughter activities.
Alleged Offenders Charged
The accused individuals, identified as Ilyas and Mahammed, allegedly engaged in the act of slaughtering a cow within the premises. However, upon the arrival of the police, Mahammed managed to escape. Authorities seized beef, waste, and various items from the location as evidence.
Legal Action Taken
In response to the incident, the police have registered a case against the accused under sections 4, 7, and 12 of the Karnataka Prevention of Cow Slaughter and Cattle Preservation Act. The enforcement of relevant laws aims to curb illegal activities related to cattle slaughter and ensure the protection of livestock in the region.
