Mangaluru: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarti Parishad (ABVP) organized a state level protest at Ambedkar circle on Monday November 3.

The protestors demonstrated their agitation against the alleged inefficiency of the government’s approach towards crimes on women.
They protested stating that the government has been lenient towards the atrocities on women which have led to increase in sexual assaults on women and minor girls and demanding the government to take appropriate legal action against the offenders.
Addressing the protest, Chaitra of Mangalore University College said that Sexual assault over the women is rampantly increasing and the state government must take up the responsibility to implement a stringent law to prevent such incidents.
In all educational institutions Women Safety Cell should be formed, she asserted.
Jayesh PK, the city secretary and Lavin Kotian ABVP district organizing secretary of ABVP also addressed the crowd.
