Mangalore :Tension prevailed when the members of ABVP abused the principal at Hampankatta University college here on July 26.

The ABVP had hired two vehicles to carry victory rally following the College elections which were held recently. The principal questioned the members for parking vehicles inside the campus without prior permission. They were also questioned for inviting former students and students from other colleges to participate in the victory rally without informing the principal.

Sources said that Students who were from outside abused one of the college staff.

Principal Satyanarayana Rao has filed a complaint and Pandeshwar police are investigating the matter.
