Mulky: Minister Abhayachandra Jain inaugurated a Bus stand built in memory of the late Ashalatha Kamath by her husband Laxman Kamath, a resident of Indiranagar in Haleyangadi on August 29.


Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that Laxman Kamath has worked for the people of Haleyangadi. As Laxman considers his father as his inspiration, the localites consider Laxman as their inspiration to do good for the society. He also praised Laxman for his service to the people of his region.
Minister also honoured donors Laxman Kamath and Shivraya couple for the construction the bus stand.
Lions club head Kavitha Shastri, Panchayat president Poornima Madhu, Donor Laxman Kamath, Lions club president Mohan Suvarna, Taluk panchayath member Rajiv Kunder, Shashindra Salyan, Chandrashekhar Nanil, Yadava, Panchayat vice president Abdul Khader, member Vasanth Bernard, Govt college principal Manjula S were present.
Govt college lecturer Jagadish Bala compered the function.
