Mangaluru: Tulunadu’s No. 1 FM station 92.7 BIG FM celebrated it’s 7th anniversary on Dec 6, 2014.  This radio channel has won the appreciation and support of the public, by giving them informative and entertaining content they long to hear – in all languages, Hindi, Kannada and Tulu, and through popular RJ’s Dayanand, Roopesh, Errol, Varsha and Nilesh.

Team BIG fm Mangalore celebrated the anniversary with the RJ’s, staff and the listeners. Popular music director Manikanth Kadri was a part of the celebration. He said, “BIG FM has gained popularity in Mangalore by delivering good quality entertainment and music. I often tune in to Big FM when I am in town. It’s my pleasure to be part of the anniversary celebration”

From early morning on December 6th, viz. 5 to 8, RJ Dayanand Kattalsar hosted his  ‘’Bolli Bolpu’’ program, then from 8 AM to 12 noon, RJ Roopesh went live with his ‘BIG COFFEE’  program, RJ Errol took over the noon slot,  from noon 12 to 4 pm, with his ‘U ,Me and  Love songs’ program, and in the evening from 4 to 8 pm RJ Varsha’s ‘’BIG Timepass’’ program took center stage, followed by Nilesh Mishra’s  ‘yaadonka ediot box’ from 8 to 10 pm. and last but not the least, from 10 pm to 12 Midnight, famous actor Annu Kapoors popular ‘’Suhana safar’’ program went on air.

Famous actor RJ Devadas Kapikad, is on air every saturday morning from 8 am to 12 noon with his hit tulu comedy program ‘Coffee with Kapikad’. Prank calls  are also made on public request during the programme ‘’BIG Gadibidi.’’

Sunday morning, from 11 to 2, its RJ Errol with ‘’Namma tuluva super guru’’, a program which recognizes the talents of the Tulunadu, while sunday evenings, its time for tulu dramas.

Station head Anirudha MP, Senior sales executive Mr. Alston Sequeira , sales executive Rakesh km, Promo producer Joel Rebello were present during the celebration.
