Mangaluru: It was a very sensitive, inspiring and emotional moment for all the residents of Boloor when a 61-year-old man and his 11-year-old granddaughter returned home after recovering from Covid-19, the disease that took the life of the man’s wife.
When they reached their home in Boloor, local Corporator Jagadeesh welcomed them with supportive words. “It was a bad time for your family so far. However, that time has passed and there is no need for you to worry anymore. We are with you. Don’t worry,” he said.
Though the Boloor area was sealed, the locals of the area showered their love by clapping their hands.
Seeing the reception, the elderly man broke down in tears.
