Mangaluru: The SSLC exams began across the state on Wednesday, March 30. On the first day as many as 32,078 students of Dakshina Kannada appreared for the exam
On the first day of the the annual Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination, first language paper examination were held.
According to an official press release, 565 students remained absent.
As many as 32,643 students are qualified to write the examination this year. While for some students it was Sanskrit, there were many writing English and Kannada as their first language.
Where as in Udupi as many as 211 students reportedly were absent for the exam. According to a press release, of the 15,642 registered students, 15,431 appeared for the first language exam.
