27 Year Old Ends Life by Jumping Off Train

Mangaluru: Despite all efforts to raise awareness, Mangalore sees yet another suicide case, this time of a 27 year old jumping off the Kannur-Bangalore-Mangalore train.

The woman, later identified as MG Nayan, was said to have jumped as the train was passing the Netravati river. Diving experts later went down to retrieve the body, which was later carried to the Bantwal government hospital for a post mortem. 

Meanwhile, authorities are conducting an investigation to look into the case and find out the cause for the unfortunate incident at the train.

With that, here is another reminder that suicide is not a solution, and there are a number of helplines today that are only too happy to extend their support and help.
