Kasargod: More than 25 people were injured in the clashes took place after polling in the district here on May 16.
In Yedampara in Delampady, BJP State Vice-president Pramila C Nayak was attacked by a group. Following attack on the leader, the BJP has called for a protest in Delampady gram panchayath limits. The protest will be held from 9am to 6pm.

In another incident, a youth named Mohammed Sinan was assaulted by a group near Kudlu in Kasargod. He has been shifted to a nearby private hospital.

In Pakyar in Uduma two youth Siddiq(23) and Ramshad(20) were assaulted by a group.

Meanwhile, a group attempted to attack Uduma former MLA K V Kunhi Raman near Tekkila and hurled stones at his vehicle. Another incident was reported in Paramba GUP school in Tekkila too.
