Kasargod: One person has been detained by Vidyanagar police for raping a minor student who he is reportedly related to. He had promised to marry her and allegedly raped her.
The accused is identified as Swaminatha (19) from Jodukallu Navodayanagar.

The accused had raped his relative who is a student from Badiyadka studying in 9th Grade. He also got her pregnant, according to reports.

Childline reportedly received the information and passed it on to the police. Based on this information, the accused has been arrested by the police.
