Mangaluru: The tenth annual placement drive ‘Alva’s Pragati-2018′ will be held on July 6 and 7, at Alva’s Vidyagiri Campus, Moodabidri.
Addressing a press meet here in the city, Vivek M Alva, Alva’s Education Foundation Managing Trustee informed that the Foundation, which has been successfully conducting Alva’s Pragati for the last nine years, is geared up for the decennial edition this time. Pragati 2018 features the participation of top recruiters representing major sectors such as IT, ITeS, Manufacturing, Healthcare and Pharma, Sales and Retail, Automobile, Banking and Finance, Hospitality, Education and NGO. These sectors offer a large number of openings for Graduates and Post Graduates in various streams such as Medical and Para-Medical, Engineering, Arts, Commerce & Management, Basic Sciences, Nursing, ITI, Diploma, skilled manpower with PUC & SSLC and other qualifications. Prominent training firms will also take part in the drive.
“The main objective is to facilitate job opportunities throughout India, especially rural and underprivileged parts of the country” he added.
He also informed that the Alva’s Pragati caters to the needs of the job aspirants of various streams.
