Kasargod: A man allegedly smuggling gold concealed in his socks was arrested at Kannur Airport on Tuesday August 31.

The arrested has been identified as Mohammad Kamaruddin, (31) hails from Mogral Puttur.

According to the sources, Kamaruddin landed Tuesday morning from Sharjah. The custom officers detecting that he was illegally smuggling gold concealing in the socks arrested him.
