Kasaragod: In a tragic incident, a woman hacked her husband to death at Panathur in Kasargod on Friday April 7.

The deceased has been identified as Babu (54), a resident of Putturadka. His wife Seemantini has been taken into custody by the Police in connection with the case.

Preliminary information suggests that a family dispute was the reason behind the act.

Babu, who used to come to the house everyday with paana and ragi, returned home on Friday evening. During a fight, Babu assaulted his wife with a sword and then his wife hacked babu to death with the same sword.
