Kasaragod: Two children drowned in a stream at Adoor here.
The deceased have been identified as Muhammed Ashiq (7), son of Shafi of Devaradka in Adoor and Muhammad Fazil (9), son of Hasainar. The incident took place at Adoor Devaradka when they were taking bath in a stream. The other children, who noticed that duo were drowning, immediately informed the neighbours, who rushed to the spot and rushed them to a hospital in Mulleria, but could not save their lives.
The body has been kept in the mortuary of Kasaragod General Hospital. Adoor Police have taken further action.
