Karwar: Aam Aadmi Party’s Karwar-Ankola Constituency candidate Ashish Gaonkar filed his nomination papers on Wednesday April 19.
Aam Aadmi Party candidate Ashish, who arrived at the Election Officer’s office in Karwar Municipal Council with his supporters, submitted his nomination papers to Sub-Divisional Officer Jayalakshmi Rayakode, who is also the Election Officer.
During the submission of nomination papers, social workers of three religions like Leo Lewis, Yakub Khan, Satyananda Prabhu, and student leader Somesh Achari supported Ashish.
Ashish, a B.E., M.Tech graduate, is an enthusiastic and active young man. Ashish who was known for his social activities and struggles since his student days has entered the election with many dreams and submitted his nomination papers.
