Karwar: Ankola police arrested a man for allegedly pasting a controversial poster on the wall of a sports shop near Bandibazar in the town on Sunday June 4 night.

Iqbal Abdul Khader (47), a resident of Kannigadde in the town, was arrested on charges of pasting posters and is being interrogated intensively.

Ankola CPI Jackson D’Souza conducted a special drive in the matter and arrested the accused.
