Karwar: R. V. Deshpande elected as MLA for the 9th time was given a grand welcome by the Congress party workers in Joida.
5 km from Bapeli Cross accompanied by a bike rally, Deshpande went to Joida Siddeshwar temple and offered pooja.
Later, Congress workers arrived at Kunabi Bhavan. Deshpande was felicitated by garlanding.
MLA who spoke on this occasion, Deshpande said this is not my victory, it is the victory of my supporters and Congress workers, and thus my congratulations to all my voters, Deshpande added.
