Karwar: An incident took place in Aversa of Ankola Taluk, where a house caught fire due to an electrical short circuit and the belongings in the house caught fire.
A house allegedly rented by Balachandra Mahabaleshwar Naik caught fire. After the fire broke out near the electricity meter board, the house was completely engulfed and the fan and other appliances in the house were burnt, along with the items in the shelves, the items worth Rs. 40000 bought for the wedding got destroyed.
As soon as the fire broke out, the fire brigade was called to the spot. Firefighters extinguished the fire. Besides, the locals also joined hands in extinguishing the fire.
