Karwar: In a tragic incident, a lorry caught fire near Arathibail on NH – 63 in Yellapur Taluk in the wee hours of Thursday November 24.
A lorry loaded with iron was on its way to Mangaluru when a fire broke out at Arathibail. It is learnt that the driver and cleaner of the truck escaped unhurt.
A team of firefighters rushed to the spot and tried to douse the fire amidst the darkness of the night. However, the truck was gutted and burnt.
