Karwar: The second phase of polling has begun in Uttara Kannada district and a large number of people queued up to cast their votes. At 9 am the voting percentage was at 8.47 per cent.

The people have gathered to vote enthusiastically at all the polling booths including Sakhi and booths for differently-abled people.

Uttara Kannada district panchayat CEO M Roshan along with his wife Ankitha Varma cast votes at booth number 100 of St Michael’s school, Karwar.
