Karwar: When the whole of Karnataka is affected by severe drought and water scarcity, a group of villagers reinforced the faith in humanity by feeding a thirsty deadly cobra with water to drink at Kaiga town in Karwar recently.In the video, the villagers along with the police are seen feeding the reptile which came in search of water. King Cobra is one of the most dreaded reptiles and most humans barely go near it. However, these villagers with the help of police and a snake expert, dealt with the deadly reptile with kindness when it came slithering towards them in search of water.

The village is hit by severe drought and there is no enough water left. But the villagers seeing the thirsty reptile gave it water to drink. In the video, a villager is seen giving water from a bottle to the 12-foot snake. Another villager is seen holding the tail of the reptile and the third one waiting with a snake catcher.
