Karwar: Three persons died on the spot while seven others were critically injured when a car rammed into to a hill at Aroli cross near Hnnavar in Uttar Kannada district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased are Fathima (65), Rubina (45) and Chabu Sahib, all hailing from Shivamogga district.

The family of ten was plying to Goa to attend a wedding when the mishap took place. A case has been registered.
