Sirsi: Uttara Kannada Member of Parliament (MP) Ananth Kumar Hegde assaulted doctors for not treating his ailing mother properly at a private hospital in Sirsi on Tuesday, January 3.
The recorded footages created a storm in social media circles after a private channel aired clippings of MP assaulting three doctors.

Dr.Madhukeshwara Jeevi, Dr. Balachandra and Dr. Rahul Marshakar bore the brunt of the attack.

Hegde’s ailing mother had been admitted to a private hospital in Sirsi after her condition became critical. However, no complaint has been lodged against the BJP MP.
