Karwar/ Panaji: Former minister and Chairman of Border Area Development Authority pacified the displaced Kannadigas during his visit to Baina beach on October 1.

“Goan government had acted in similar lines in the past and then withdrew bowing to stiff opposition. This time around, without issuing any notice, Goan civic authorities have evicted Kannadigas in the most inhuman manner”, said Chinchansur speaking on the occasion.

Despite Karnataka government writing several letters to Goan government, the atrocities on Kannadigas continue, said Chinchasnur who assured of a suitable solution to accommodate the displaced people by negotiating with Karnataka state government.

Later he heard the woes of displaced people in the Baina beach area.
