Karwar: A biker died on the spot when he collided head-on against a state transport corporation bus at Gilalagundi near Siddapur on November 21.

Annappa Kurubar (20), a resident of Siddapur is the deceased.

The biker suffered grievous injuries and died on the spot. The North-West Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) bus was heading towards Siddapur from Sirsi, when the incident took place.

Following the incident, traffic was disrupted for more than half-an-hour on the busy state highway.

The Siddapur Police have registered a case.
