Mangaluru: Another case of moral policing has been registered in Mangaluru. A complaint has been lodged by a student of a reputed medical college in Mangaluru for allegedly being assaulted by a group of people who had followed the students who had gone to the beach.

The students of the prestigious private medical college in Mangaluru had gone for a beach picnic in Panambur. The girls had gone with students from other communities. Hafiz (20), a student, was attacked by a group of men who followed him from the beach at Bijai Kapikad. The injured student has lodged a complaint with the Urwa police station.
