Subrahmanya: Due to continuous heavy rain around Sulya and Subrahmanya, the flow of water in the streams has increased. Bolmale, Bastikadu Kindi Dam on Subrahmanya road has been submerged and more than 15 houses have been disconnected due to the bridge being submerged.

The vehicular traffic has come to a standstill, and the footpath in the same area has also been submerged, causing significant inconvenience to the people. The Kindi dam has sustained damage due to large blocks floating in the stream that got lodged on the wall of the dam.  Furthermore, neighboring agricultural lands have also suffered damage as a result of water seepage.

Graduate students from the area encountered significant challenges commuting to college due to the mandatory exam scheduled for today.
