Bengaluru: A youth was severely injured in a brawl over dog poo in Okalipuram near Srirampura on Monday, December 31.
The injured Srikanth (20), who spotted a dog poo in front of his house confronted his neighbour, its owner. The argument worsened between the youth and the neighbour and the former ended up with 15 stitches to his hand.
According to Srikanth, a post office employee, at around 8 PM on Monday, neighbour Vani’s dog pooped in front of his house. He along with his father Sridhar confronted Vani’s family and asked them to clean up the mess. But Vani and her sister Geetha, abused Srikanth and his father in foul language. Geetha’s son Prabhakar brought out a machete and slit Srikanth’s palm and three fingers. Meanwhile, Ajith, another son of Geetha hurled stones at Srikanth’s legs.
