Bangalore: A wheeling stunt turned erroneous killing a youth, after he had just celebrated New Year and was returning home on his bike during the early hours of Wednesday January 1.

The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Saleem, a cab driver who hails from Valmiki Nagar near Mysore Road.

According to the police officials, Saleem was  drunk and was trying to do stunt on a friend’s scooter which  collided with  three other motorcycles that were approaching from the opposite side.

Three other motorcyclists, Sandeep, Chethan and Kailash, were also injured in the accident their condition is said to be stable now. But Saleem who suffered a gruesome head injury died in the hospital.

The Halasurugate traffic police have registered a complaint.
