Bangalore: The former CM and Karnataka Janata Party (KJP) founder B S Yeddyurappa expressed his strong conviction not to go back to BJP. This news indeed drew curtain on recent media reports that Yeddyurappa will join BJP once again.
Addressing the media persons, when he arrived for the first assembly session here on Wednesday May 29, B S Yeddyurappa said that KJP will represent opposition in legislative assembly, while relentless efforts will be made to strengthen the party at booth-level ahed of forthcoming general elections, said Yeddyurappa. KJP is ready to co-operate with other parties except BJP in the forthcoming parliamentary elections, said Yeddyurappa.
The BJP bigwigs are trying to bring back Yeddyurappa to the party, while the state BJP leaders are trying to hinder this effort, it was learned. The former minister C T Ravi also tried to convince B S Yeddyurappa in this regard but in vain. Meanwhile, Its clear that B S Yeddyurappa expressed his strong conviction as not to go back to BJP.
