Bengaluru: Another alleged gang rape case has been reported at Mangammanapalya in HSR layout on Friday.

A girl from Maharashtra lodged a complaint against two city dwelling youths aged around 20 years, one of which she knew from some months.

Police have arrested the duo, Dinesh and Deepak on charges of gang rape.

According to the police, the lady is a native of Maharashtra and had come to the city a year ago. She was working as a call center executive and was jobless from the past six months.

She called on Deepak, whom she knew for a while and had lent money and asked to return it as she was under financial crunch.

Taking advantage of the situation, Deepak asked her visit a place near HSR layout, lured and raped her along with his friend Dinesh.
