Bengaluru: A woman said to be mentally unstable had created nuisance by staging protest in front of the DG & IGP’s official residence on Saturday night seeking action against a police officer’s son, who is harassing her.

The woman, identified as Sadhana alleged that, the DG’s son has been harassing her for long time. She had lodged a complaint regarding the same in Rajajinagar police station, but the police have turned a blind eye on the issue, she accused.

Speaking to the media, DG & IGP Om Prakash said, “ I or my family members have nothing to do with that lady. She seems to be either insane or trying to blackmail us for gain.”

The woman was taken into custody later for further investigation.
