Bengaluru: JDS leader, Gubbi MLA and Minister for Small Industries S R Srinivas announced that he will resign from his post if party supremo H D Devegowda is defeated in the Tumakuru Lok Sabha constituency.

It can be recalled that, in the Tumakuru Lok Sabha constituency, Devegowda has locked horns with BJP veteran leader G S Basavaraju.

In a social media post, Srinivas stated that he will not continue as minister for even a second if HDD fails to win. The post went viral as his detractors have criticised him of making such a post to appease the party’s leadership.
