Bengaluru: As newly sworn-in Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa is all set to prove his majority tomorrow, on Monday, July 29, on the floor of the house and also present the finance bill. He has assured to not change even a word from the finance bill that has been already prepared by the dissolved Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition government.

Speaking to media at his residence at Dollars Colony, he said, “I’ve already taken the consent of Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar on presenting the finance bill on the floor of the house on Monday. I’m assuring that even a word from the bill will not be touched and will be presented as it is as the previous coalition government had decided.”

It can be recalled that during the floor test of the coalition, held on Tuesday, July 23, former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy had requested the house to pass the finance bill as it is.
