Wild boar attacks woman

Ramanagara : A woman was attacked by a wild boar during broad daylight while at work in her field at Gadagayyanadoddi in Sugganahalli Gram Panchayat of Ramanagara taluk.

The woman  Puttalakshmamma  has suffered injuries in her arms and back. The wild boar escaped  when Puttalakshmamma began to scream. The villagers who rushed to the spot admitted her to the District Hospital.

Farmer leader Seebakatte Krishnappa has said that people living in villages on the edge of forests are  facing constant fear of wild animal attack. He also alleged that the Forest Department was apathetic towards their problems.
