Bangalore:The voters have taught a lesson to the former CM H D Kumaraswamy who tried all the means to finish political career of my family, said the former minister D K Shivakumar.

Addressing the media persons in the national capital, Shivakumar said that Kumaraswamy had filed bogus cases on him that are in the court of law.  A few are already cleared.  The voters have taught Kumaraswamy a fitting lesson for his petty politics, said Shivakumar.

‘It’s not only JDS leads, a few media enterprises to targeted me with propaganda, but the voters did not care for all that.  The voters acknowledged the developmental works that were undertaken at my term, that has given me thumping victory,’ said Shivakumar.  He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the voters in this regard for their overwhelming support.

‘I have not applied for any ministerial post.  I am committed to the decision of pary high command.  I am involved in lobbying for ministerial berth at the backdrop of my brother’s victory in parliamentary elections,’ said Shivakumar.  The party high command knows when to give such responsibilities, stressed Shivakumar.
