Bangalore : Robbers made a futile attempt to break in to  an ATM machine of Corporation Bank in HSR Layout. The incident came to light on  Friday night. They used a crowbar. The security guard, Shamsul, tried to resist the robbery bid. 

The Theives managed to flee after assaulting the security guard.  He is undergoing treatment.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-East) T D Pawar, said that the condition of the security guard was stable and the doctors had declared him out of danger.
