Bengaluru: This Pride month, Manipal Hospitals initiated an exclusive vaccination drive for the transgender community. The drive was held on Tuesday June 29 from 11: 30 am onwards.

It was conducted in the presence of Karthik Rajagopal, Chief Operating Officer, Manipal Health Enterprises Pvt Ltd. Slots for Sputnik-V, Covaxin and Covishield was made available at the drive.

Aiming at combating the dreadful Covid – 19, this initiative will be a stepping stone to boost the vaccination drive in the country.
