Bengaluru: Believe it or not, a smart under trail has managed to walk out of Parappana Agrahara, that too with consent from jail authorities. Thanks to the negligence of the authorities. Hemanth, an under trial was in Parapanna Agrahara on charges of theft. Two cases stood against him at Upparpet police station. However, the highlight of the story was that Hemanth could avail bail only for one case and was denied bail for the other.

But street smart Hemanth brought to the notice of the jail authorities that he has availed bail in one case and did not reveal that he had failed to get bail in another case.

Convinced by Hemanth’s talks, the police set him free only to become laughing stock.
