Bengaluru: The sleuths of the Narcotics wing of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested two Nigerian citizens for allegedly indulging in drug peddling. The police have seized 50 grams of cocaine worth Rs 2.50 lakh from the accused.

The police have identified the arrested persons as Nduba Joseph (25) and Nwite Sunday Rose (32) from Nigeria. They were arrested near Dwaraka Apartment complex on 5th Main Road at Indiranagar 1st stage when they were trying to sell cocaine to customers. The police have also seized a two-wheeler and passports from them apart from 50 grams of cocaine.
According to the police, the accused are said to have purchased cocaine from an individual named Ben, who is now absconding, at TC Palya and were selling it to customers known to them. The accused were booked under several Sections of the IPC including Narcotics, Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.
