Bengaluru: Two more people from Karnataka tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, April 14 evening, according to the state health department’s evening bulletin.
Earlier in the day, 11 new cases were reported from the state.
According to the bulletin, the total of the state now stands at 260, which includes ten deaths and 71 discharges.
The two new cases since the afternoon come from Bengaluru and Bhatkal.
Patient 259, a 35-year-old woman is a Bengaluru resident and a contact of Patient 199.
Patient 260 is a 36-year-old man from Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada and is the husband of Patient 176.
According to the bulletin, deaths have occurred in Bengaluru Urban (2), Kalaburagi (3), Chikkaballapura (1), Bagalkot (1), Vijayapura (1), Tumakuru (1) and Gadag (1).
