Bengaluru: Two Chilean nationals were, on Saturday, arrested for attaching skimmmer machines in ATM kiosks in Bengaluru city. They are reportedly part of a gang that collects data and sells it to gangs in other cities.

According to the Tilak Nagar police, the men fitted a skimmer on an ATM in Jayanagar 9th block. A bank officer noticed the skimmer when he was refilling cash in the ATM.

“We registered a case based on the complaint lodged by a bank officer. We got the details of the accused through the CCTV,” the police informed.

Meanwhile, two of the gang are still at large.
