Bengaluru: In a tragic road accident, two college students from the city died on the spot after a bus ran over them on the early hours of Saturday.

The deceased are identified as Navajoth from Odisha and Abhin, a native of Kerala. Both are aged about 22 years and were studying in Brundavan college in Bengaluru.

According to police, the incident took place near Kambahalli gate, Ramnagara district. The duo lost control over their bike while performing a wheelie and hit another bike before falling onto the road. A speeding KSRTC bus ran over on them. Two others are also injured in the incident and are treated in a private hospital, police sources said..

The duo had been to Kerala on bike and were returning back to Bengaluru via Mysore city, sources said.
