Bengaluru: Following the fear that the COVID-19 may spread at the community-level, the state government decided to tighten the lockdown rules further.
According to the latest order issued by the state police, use of two and four wheelers hae been banned completely till April 14.
This decision has been taken following the complaints that 21 days lockdown is not implemented properly and people are roaming on the roads unnecessarily.
In a tweet, DG-IPG Praveen Sood made this announcement.
“This is not an April Fool’s prank. Two/ four wheelers are banned from use till the 14th of April. We will SEIZE your vehicle if you CEASE to ignore this lockdown regulation,” he tweeted.
Despite all the efforts, 101 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 as on Tuesday.
