Tumakuru: Two students who were on their way to Tumakuru to appear for the CET examination died on the spot when the car in which they were travelling hit a road side tree. Three other students, who were in the car, sustained injuries and were rushed to the Tumakuru district hospital.

The incident was reported from K B Cross, Kundur Palya.

According to the K B Cross police, who are investigating the case, the deceased are identified as Kiran (18) and Thrinesh (20). Both are the residents of Dandinashivara.

A complaint was lodged with the KB Cross police station in this regard.
