Tumakuru: Two people died and several others were injured in a horrific road accident in Gubbi’s Doddaguni on the morning of Monday June 20.
According to sources, the accident happened when a KSRTC bus collided with an oncoming car at 6.30 am. The KSRTC bus was travelling from Tiptur to Bengaluru, while the car was heading to Chikkanayakanahalli.
According to sources, a young woman and another passenger in the car died on the spot and three others are in critical condition.
More than 30 passengers on the KSRTC bus were also injured.
The identity of those who died and were injured was immediately unknown.
Gubbi police visited the spot.
