Tumakuru: Like every year this time on June 3, 2023 the District Health and Family Welfare Department will organise a Cycle Jatha programme with the slogan ‘Cycle for Health’ on the occasion of World Bicycle Day.
District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr. Manjunath said that it will be at 8.00 am and will start from the Zilla Panchayat premises of the city to the office of the District Health and Family Welfare Officer.
He said that cycle jatha has been organised at the district level to create awareness about major risk behaviours for NCD (non-communicable diseases) such as tobacco use, alcohol consumption, poor diet, insufficient physical activity and air pollution with the slogan ‘Cycle for Health’.
