Tumakuru: One of the common superstitious beliefs in State is that if a person sees a fox first thing after getting up in the morning, it will be a lucky day. Many people display fox photos in their bed rooms for the same reason. Now the Forest Wing Officials of CID arrested a youth in Tumakuru for keeping a fox at poultry farm seeking luck.
Lakshmikanth, a resident of Hebbur Hobli in the District is the youth arrested.
Lakshmiknth is running a poultry farm and a few days ago he found a fox cub in his village lake bed. He rescued it and kept it in the farm with the wish that seeing it would bring him luck.
Officials who came to know about this, raided his farm and arrested the accused.
Fox is now rescued and under observation.
